Jennifer Laoun-Rubenstein is a multidisciplinary visual artist based in Montreal. She expresses herself through painting, drawing and sculpture, as well as through fibre arts, artisanal practices, and creative writing.

Born and raised in Canada, with Egypto-Lebanese and Eastern European roots, Jennifer grew up with Maronite and Jewish traditions in an Anglo-Franco home.

Themes of identity, nostalgia, limerence, and erotica underlie the undulations of skin folds, threads, and waterlines recurring in her work. She uses sensorial and intuitive perception to drive her process of visual storytelling, often born of streams of consciousness.

Jennifer is a professional member of the Regroupement des artistes en arts visuels du Québec and a former board member of the Women's Art Society of Montreal, WECAN, and Espace d’Expressions et de Création. Her work has been shown in Montreal and Tokyo.
